Patagonia Public Library
Limited Service Safety ProceduresAs we begin to slowly return to normal operation, we thank you in advance for bearing with us and adhering to the following safety procedures while inside the library:
- Staff will reopen the library by appointment, allowing a certain number of people in the library at one time for no longer than 30 minutes. All library visits will be limited to 30 minutes. Patrons should plan accordingly when visiting and be prepared to exercise social distancing measures.
- Plexiglass guards are installed at the front desk to protect staff and patrons. Please remain behind these partitions at all times and refrain from entering the staff area.
- Entry and exit will be limited to the front door.
- Patrons must wash their hands at the portable hand washing station outside the front door before entering building.
- Patrons will be required to wear a mask inside of the library. If they do not have a mask, they will be provided with one.
- Temperature checks will be given to all patrons at the door. Anyone with a temperature of 100.4 degrees or higher will be asked to come back at a later time.
- Furniture will be rearranged to accommodate social distancing. Chairs will be removed around the reading tables so patrons do not sit too close to each other. The same will be done at the public computers.
- Hand sanitizing stations will be set up throughout the library and on every computer station.
- Computer time will be limited to one session a day within the appointed 30 minutes. No computer game playing will be allowed. Computer stations will be sanitized after each internet session.
