ASTRONOMY FOR BEGINNERS – 3 of 6

This 6-class course by Ken Graun is for astronomy enthusiasts who want to get acquainted with the night sky. Participants will learn how to identify the constellations and gain hands-on experience with telescopes.

Class 3 • 2 hours Objective: Introduction to Telescope Mounts Lecture: Major telescope mounts, motorized and GOTO versions Outdoor Activity: Use a SCT GOTO telescope to observe objects in the night sky.
