NEA Big Read Indigenous Film Series: Barking Water
Tin Shed Theater Mendoza Alley, Patagonia"Barking Water," written and directed by Sterlin Harjo, is a uniquely delicate and moving road movie that tells the story of a proud Native American attempting to reconnect with his estranged family. NEA Big Read is a program of the National Endowment for the Arts in partnership with Arts Midwest. The National Endowment for the Arts Big Read is designed to broaden our understanding of our world, our communities, and ourselves through the joy of sharing a good book. Patagonia Public Library is one of 60+ nonprofit organizations to receive a grant to host an NEA Big Read project.
